Spring is a time for new beginnings, better weather, and longer days. Many of us are doing spring cleaning – out with the old and in with the new!
This morning I was lost in thought about eating breakfast at sidewalk cafes in Paris and the rolling hills of Tuscany. I realized at that moment that the people in Paris and Tuscany are home, just like me. The cafes aren’t open and the rolling hills are quiet.
This spring is different from any other we’ve ever had. How will new beginnings show up this year?
While my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being are at the top of my mind, I’m also using this time to reflect on how I’m designing my life. I’m spring cleaning by assessing what’s working well, what I want to create, and what isn’t working.
What helps me during this time is imagining my life six months from now…It’s October. The sun is lower in the sky and the leaves are turning orange, gold, and red. I want to look back at this time as open, loving, and connected.
As I’m making choices of how I spend my time, I’m asking myself why I’m making the choices I am. Rather than being on autopilot, there is a possibility for growth.
How will you choose to approach this spring? What is possible in your life?
Spring is the time for new beginnings.
This year certainly has some twists and turns to it! I say, “Make the most of it.”
See the positive in each day,. Enjoy the miracles as they happen.
