What play does

When I was a kid my imagination took me to new kingdoms, fancy soirées, and Barbie pool parties that would beat out any day at a five-star resort.

Incorporating play, like I did when I was a kid, inspires my spirit and vibrancy for life.

This year I’m putting more emphasis on play because it breaks down walls and connects me to my true essence. Play encourages vulnerability, honesty, and making space for connection.

As an adult I’ve added layers of “protection” that don’t truly serve me. When I am open and vulnerable, I stand in my own power; play pulls the layers away.

What the heck does play look like?

Play is dancing, singing, and jumping. Play is being honest, real, and true. Play is noticing things with a childlike imagination.

How would more play benefit you and your life? What does it look like for you?
